I think if you do the work on the font end (putting the right tenant in) then it shouldn't be as hard. 

I use a handwriting font so it looks like its handwritten:Dear John Doe,My name is Paul Amegatcher and I would like to buy your house at123 ABC St,Dayton, OH, 45410Please call me at 937-xxx-xxxxIf you are interested in selling.

You could also send postcards, zip letters, or computer generated font letters.

Is spending the money for handwritten fonts worth it? 

While as a general rule it would take quite a bit for me to report something (I have not to this point) there are plenty of people who sit around just reporting silly things like "The font of the brokerage number is not as pronounced as the cell number" or "Doug is licensed as Douglas".

I went through a couple companies that had handwriting font and it's pretty obvious that it's not handwritten so great call on writing the addresses yourself (be ready for some hand cramps!).

I've been searching for negative reviews and most of them just center around the font size being small or not liking connecting bank accounts etc.

I'm not a real estate agent, and also not in your state, so I can't comment on what is/isn't allowed, but it's normal in most markets for agents to have go-to lenders that get it done with minimal stress and on-time.Some agents will give a list of 3 or 4... with one in size 20 font, and the others in size 8 font.
