I'm a diehard verizon fan; FORGET AT&T if you want decent reliable service.the q runs a stripped down version of windows on it so you can integrate it very easily and it loads way faster than blackberries.the storm sucks so don't go that route.also, you can get a q for much cheaper than an iphone.

I know many people on this blog are diehard real estate investors and would not even consider investing in anything else...but what about different types of investments such as 529 plans, simple indexed annuities, The stock market, your employer's retirement plan, etc...would you ever invest in these things or is real estate just always the better solution and all your money should go towards that?

K.marie P.We have done similar programs in the past, at one point  ran our own credit repair program while we sold houses on lease purchase contracts and worked with a good mortgage broker to get people qualified and sold the houses for top dollar.Way too much work, as someone else mentioned, old habits die hard, especially financial habits.

I'd say San Fran-ers fall into one of two categories-- 1. die-hard going to invest in SF and somehow make the lack of cash flow work, or 2. out-of-state investors.If you're goal is passive income, you've got to figure out where the cash flow is coming from.
