Paint is 50-60$ per gallon (acrylic sherwin williams super paint).

So my options are PoS or Acrylic. 

Now I actually prefer acrylic enclosures.

I'm going with Granite for the rental and Quartz or Acrylic for me. :)

Latex or siliconized acrylic, both paintable, must be used when either surface is painted.

Ditch the Dry-Lock, a good acrylic paint works just as well for the foundation wall.

I used to use epoxy but fusion is also very stain resistant and acrylic so easy to use....not cement based but it looks cement based.

Right now I am looking at Aker CM-60 fiberglass for around $420Aker ACCTS-3360 acrylic for around $800Delta 226032AL00 "Acrylic" $500 (although I've heard that it is just an acrylic layer over other material).Any suggestions of different units or recommendations of things I should be avoiding?

To make a long story short, this imbecile of a plumber melted my acrylic tub with his soldering gun, after specifically being told to cover it and being provided with a large piece of cardboard.

I was told that acrylic paint might be an option.
