I'm an investor-friendly realtor in Western Michigan.

I’m over here on Big Island, up in the Kohala coast, and it offers some resort areas too on the sunny western side similar to Ko Olina on Oahu.So things to consider are:- Which Island- Your budget- Will you be financing or paying cash?  

The fundamental thing is also that in Asia and Middle East, the jobs & buying power of people have skyrocketed exponentially in the past 10yrs, much better than western countries today.

I'm also in Raleigh and have STRs in Western NC, but ours are closer to Asheville area. 

I own a 4 bedroom property in Western Carolina and they offered me $5,200 per month and they pay utilities and landscaping.

If you plan on living in one of the units, this won't be feasible, but the price point is so much lower in western MA.

Same for NC, Charlotte, Triangle, or western or eastern NC?
