I'd wager the major VA colleges -- VT, UVA, VCU, etc -- are well saturated with investors.

I'd even be willing to make a small wager that honestly reported he is making maybe 2- 3%/ year on that property as an actual return if he hasn't kept up with rent increases. 

I'd wager that a high percentage of evictions are due to health issues.

But I’m willing to wager that with the same amount of effort and cash, you will be able to leverage the experience of professionals, to build something of your own that perfectly fits your financial goals, limits risk to you and your family, and is repeatable if you somehow lost it all just because you chose the “hard” route.

But for every success story of buying on credit I would wager there are ten where the buyer was under capitalized/ over leveraged and unexperienced and got left holding the bag.

Id wager 20$ that there is some defect with the park.  

Now when you play video poker you don't automatically get free drinks, they have an electronic system that will only allow you to have a free drink after you've wagered enough.  

But as for pure appreciation potential, I’d wager that a good SFH will be a more solid bet than a condo in a tower (different than a condo in a small 2-4 bldg.)
