My husband is active duty Navy so local is subject to the time.

My husband moves alot for work (active duty navy) so we buy personals that we turn into rentals and pure rental (rentals from day one).

The real cost to do a basement apartment is more like $30k putting in French drain system, sump pumps, etc

I chose to work at Long & Foster Real Estate, Inc. in Princeton Junction, a very short drive from my house:-) I am originally from Philly, but have lived all over the US with my husband, a former pilot in the Navy,  and our four children.  

Some basements just tend to be a little more damp, and if finishing I like to have french drains and sump pump installed.
