Now that my wife and I are getting settled in one place, we are getting serious about real estate investing and getting out of the rat race.

I could have been out of the rat race already if I continued buying.

I'm too deep in the rat race, I'm a slave to my job....

I smell a lot bigger rat than one simple renter. 

Bare minimum cash flow of $100 each with target cash flow of $300-$400 each.Generate enough passive income to cover half of our monthly living expenses (~$1500), with our ultimate goal of “getting out of the rat race” by 2022.Find and research 3 new U.S. markets to invest in while overseas.

Again, that was a wonderful story and I am very happy you were able to get out of the rat race of Corporate America!

That may motivate them to rat each other out.

Rinse and repeat until you’re out of the rat race, and continue to scale to prosper.

I will also be forming an S corp this month and have found a closing attorney.I'd love to hear from members who are familiar with the NYC/Long Island market or any market in regards to what to expect, what should my team consist of, the best counties in New York for wholesaling etc .Essentially reaching out for guidance and possible mentorship for a ambitious young man with admitted limited real estate knowledge (outside of podcasts and what Ive read on the internet) trying to escape the rat race.
