I think they just don't budget well and are in over their head...though they do make 3x the rent.It is a shame when a bit of kindness and understanding is taken for weakness...though, in the past with my previous tenants, that attitude has worked out well.

They feel they should be provided with free housing or whatever but to me they have less than healthy attitudes of paying their way. taking good care of your property, and taking care of their credit if they even have any.

They start to have bizarre attitudes and unrealistic tenant expectations.There's this strong general belief here on Bigger Pockets that "a good property manager" will solve every problem you have and "your time is too valuable" to spend managing apartments and working with tenants.
