Therefore I am looking for meet ups, networking events, workshops, etc. to help me get to know more like minded people in my area.

I was wondering if anyone had some recommendations on investing workshops/seminars that they thought were worth the money and time. 

However, I quickly learned that was not the case.I went to specific workshops dedicated to multi family investing and got so much value.

I also attended all the auctions and workshops that they offered.

I'd like to get it permitting while things have more streamlined.An outbuilding (workshop and detached garage) on a SFH also in SB county that is already plumbed with a 1/2 bath, wired with a 30 A sub-panel, and has finished ceiling/walls in the workshop.

Secondly, an additional bedroom and bath were added to the Grapevine home (enclosing a workshop from a 3 car garage and pulling the garage half bath into the main house and making it a full bath- $15,000 expense).
