One business which was nationally branded and had stores all over the US was apparently doing some black hat SEO work (obscenely large amounts of link building all of a sudden, posting links on completely unrelated sites, keyword stuffing etc.) and Google dropped them from the first page to the 14th page.

Step #5 at this point is pointless as these non-quality followers will have overly stuffed DM inboxes, chopping out another utility from their twitter ability and the same with happen to your inbox as well.Boil it all down, your links and messages no matter how good will be marginalized by the millions of other George Carrs out there.

I have also had tenants move them and plug them in stuffed behind sofas, not very sensible when the whole point is that the alarm needs to be exposed to an odorless gas.
