Lots of immigration and a diversification of employees.

We are experiencing an annual birth rate of 14.18 births per 1,000; it is estimated we need at least 24.50 births per thousand to sustain our population (can you say immigration?).

Like many American’s, I'm fed up after watching the health care bill get pushed through and our government saying that they had to ignore us because we don't know better, or the AZ immigration law, or prop 8 in California.

It has very solid fundamentals and is the main attraction for foreign investors and immigrants at the same time.

If there are some kids that aren’t testing high because they are immigrants who don’t speak English as first language, it shouldn’t make much difference, especially for a rental property.

California is one of the states with "exchanges" and huge numbers of illegal immigrants, etc. that will affect the market so, best to wait and see how.

Hello BP Family,After contemplating for a few minutes the type of impression I wanted to make with my introduction I simply realize that if this community truly was going to become a part of my family I should be transparent from the start.After immigrating from Mexicali,  Baja California in Northern Mexico I dedicated all of my effort to school which earned me a place at UC Berkeley for my college career.

Are there policies of the various candidates (and/or parties) that may pose more of a threat than others to REI in general, i.e. immigration/amnesty/deportation, minimum wage increases, etc?  

Most of the people I help find rent are potential high quality tenants, newlyweds or new immigrants from Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, Moldova and other European countries.

Especially in states like California known to ignore federal law (marijuana and immigration are two examples) and they will side in favor or the tenant when something goes wrong.
