I have Landlord friends that have rented their apts where the tenants, over time, bring lots of people, their 2nd or 3rd cousins who came over and over stayed their VISAs now they are undocumented workers, etc.These poor Landlords find it difficult to go to court to throw them out because it will just happen again and the Laws and Judges are completely pro-tenant here in NYC.These Landlords are TRAPPED for the most part.

I am located in Idaho, and I have found two properties (one is a 2 bedroom/1.5 bath townhome ($135,000) and one is a 2 bedroom/1 bathroom single-family unit ($120,000)).I am planning on living in it for the next two years with my fiancee/future wife while I finish my Master's in accounting/MBA and she finishes her Bachelors in Nursing.

This is of course risky, but you have very ambitious goals and it'll take risk to get there on your own.2) Focus on finding investing partners whose strengths are your weaknesses and visa versa. 1+1=3 in this game and, so long as you partner with the right people, the smaller piece of the larger pie should go a lot further towards feeding your lifestyle.Good luck and feel free to reach out if you think I can help!

I will be getting a SSN within the next 2-3 weeks as I finally got my investor's visa however I will not have an established credit history for some time.Could anyone help to point me in the right direction with a corporate line of credit that is underwritten based on equity and cashflow as opposed to credit, personal income?
