It is a property with some older office buildings in an older metropolitan area that is undergoing some pretty extensive re-development with new retail and new condos/housing.  

For example if you were very overweight, you may crack some fat jokes about yourself.

This is crazy to me considering if you bought almost any resale property in 2011 you would be cashing in fat checks right now or even if you sold a few years ago in 2014.

After all, I enjoy getting checks monthly - but it would nice to cash in a fat check once in while too.Question 2 - Networking is key to finding good deals - MLS can have some good deals periodically - but the best deals are going to come from a distressed situation that you find out about through word of mouth - and that means staying in front of your network and growing it so that you are exposed to new situations and opportunities.

We currently do business in Washington, DC where my company has built new homes, rehabbed blighted properties, purchased properties at tax sale, and we are currently under going a four-unit condo conversion in Capitol Hill, Washington, DC.

I dont pay their large fat check commissions to simply get quotes and contracts, they need to give me knowledge and make me understand legal and coverage consequences.
