Okay- So I am going to make a long story as short as I can. My husband and worked in the vinyl Siding business and roofing for a while now. Running his own crew. We have 1099 our workers. Now he has been approached from a builder that loves his work and wants to hire him on his jobs. But my husband he said needed Workmans COmp and a general liability insurance. What do I need to do to work on getting this. I have so many questions. We are not an established company.-We are under a DBA> . He only has 2 guys that work with him including him. So there is 3 workers all together. Do we have to establish a LLC? On workmans Comp do we have to cut out taxes and do w2's? Does anyone have information?
