Well, it does matter:Spending, increased deficit, lower personal taxes, tax base shrinks, spend on projects the deficit increases, that reduces bond prices, low bonds, mortgage rates go up.Higher interest rates pushes home prices down, people buy what the can afford, rents follow prices as well, in the buy-rent analysis, I won't pay higher rents if I can buy for the same or less.
