Use a renovation loan where the initial rate is interest only under 7% and then you refinace into the perm loan when the builder or GC is done with the final draw.

I'm trying to find something from them or anyone showing occupancy rates historically as I love seeing some of that data - as both a builder of str cabins in eastern tennessee and someone holding str cabins in eastern tennessee. :-) Any chance you have a link or two to the report?

Southern impression is primarily a single family home builder and their floorplans are all too large for profitability. they are overbuilding each unit and adding unnecessary things like garages that don't get you any income and only drive the construction values up. a garage on it's own isn't with much more than what it's built for and doesn't really add to the equity gain in new construction
