My poor dogs run to me with their tail between their legs cause my husband is yelling so loud they think they are in trouble.  

Using an accounting package to do property management is using the tail to wag the dog.

I kind of just feel like a dog chasing his tail...

I'm not sure how reliable a preliminary title report from a realtor is but its worth looking into.I'll defenitely check into the county records office and see if I can make heads or tails out of it, if not I figure I can always grease someone's hand their to explain it to me.

It will be your responsibility to follow the law, don't take the word of the people who want you to find properties as they may be misinformed and it may not be their tail in a sling either!

I believe there is a time to buy and a time to run with our tails between our legs and pay down some of our loans/save opportunity funds.

I've also chosen a couple of long tail keywords to rank for where I can.  

The idea is to talk about local happenings in your town (or whatever) so that your website ranks higher in long tail searches.
