We have better water, sand, diving, fishing, etc. than the entire Gulf Coast.

In terms of hobbies, I love almost anything to do with the outdoors (alpine skiing, mountain/road biking, camping and fishing) and if I haven't done it I am willing to try it. 

In Florida, environmental issues typically can range from Bald Eagle nests, wetlands, gopher tortoises and permitting through local governments, Water Management Districts, Department of Environmental Protection or Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and the U.S.

If you want good fishing some spots are better than others, if you want mountain areas there are good spots for that. 

just watch the markets and fish where the fish are.Stay safe, prosperous and amused .. and warm !

Love the interest but your question is analogous to "I'm interested in fish.  

Try to hook up a BIG fish be willing to hire you to do manual labor jobs clean gutters ,mow etc... at a small discount see and listen to the operation get your hands dirty doing this will give you many insights .

Prove you can run that enterprise, expand it a little bit, then if you're still game try for bigger fish. 

I am saying what you are doing is fishing out the exceptions.There are far better ways, but either way.
