I've been watching the forums and browsing and satisfying my curiosity about the subject and science of REI.I've talked with a few landlords in my local area, and they have lots of issues with renters meeting the due dates for rent (typically, due by the 1st, Late fees start applying after the 5th of each month).

While Real Estate's not rocket science if you treat it the same as getting your undergraduate degree with regards to studying you'll be fine.

I'm currently a Computer Science student and I'm really wanting to get into real estate.

I just graduated from Pomona College in Los Angeles, where I majored in Cognitive Science and Linguistics.

A bit of background, I went to college in Newark, NJ for Computer Science and currently working as a Software Engineer.

"Train up a child" and all that:) My degree is Social Science Education, so qualified to teach History, etc.

If "Rich Dad" was actually a real person or an aggregate of many people, along with other things that he would have liked to have had isn't really a big deal to me.Yeah maybe it would have been nice for him to say upfront that it was more of a fictional account, but doesn't chance the points.And RDPD is the #1 personal finance book of all time and he has sold like 26 million copies of all his books so it is pretty clear most people aren't concerned about the fictional aspects of the stories.Now if he lies and makes stuff up in his actual business dealings I would guess he would have a lot more issues.

You should find RE pretty simple, it's not nuclear engineering or rocket science!

I even got my BS degree in computer science during that time.
