Hello everyone. I stumbled across this site the other day while searching google for a better way to evaluate investment property.

I currently live in a small town just north of Baton Rouge, LA. I'm an electrical design engineer at a nuclear power plant. Prior to my current position I was a naval officer where I served aboard a couple Ohio class ballistic missile submarines.

In my spare time I enjoy learning about real estate and hacking at golf balls. I've been married for just over 13 years and have a 12 year old son and a six year old daughter.

My focus is on multifamily residential properties. I'm searching for duplexes, triplexes or quads in the Baton Rouge area. My goal is to build a portfolio of these properties and hold them long term. I'm not interested in flipping and I would prefer to steer away from properties that need extensive rehab until I learn more about that side of the business.

I'm excited to join ya'll and look forward to learn more about real estate investing here.
