I was referred to the BiggerPockets by a co-worker after I expressed my interest in Real Estate investment and since then I'm hooked to the show.

I learned about BiggerPockets from a co-worker who has a few rental properties in the area, and he highly recommended the site as a valuable tool and the best possible starting point for education.

My husband is a primary borrower and his friend is a co borrower.

My lawyer advised me to verify that there is a CO for the property as well as check if there are any building violations on the property that I would be liable for. 

Pittsfield (one of our favorite cities as a service town to the berkshires with good restaurants and infrastructure from the GE days) just opened a co-working space, as did North Adams and others "japanification of america"--quality of middle-class corporate life is eroding just as cities are becoming wealthier, leading to longer 1.5-2 hr commutes as standardf--as a result, these areas are becoming more competitive. 

When wholesalers reach out to me moving forward, I will offer my assistance as a co-wholesaler.

I'm speculating, but I'd imagine that they are going to want you to have a co-signer on the loan because you don't have 2 years of employment under your belt.
