New member from Northeast Arkansas

My name is Chris, and I'm from Northeast Arkansas.  I've got no real background in real estate.  I'm looking to learn the ins and outs of the business and to decide if this is a viable path to supplement (and possibly replace) my full time job as an operations manager for FedEx Ground.  I learned about BiggerPockets from a co-worker who has a few rental properties in the area, and he highly recommended the site as a valuable tool and the best possible starting point for education.
