I have not done a subject to deal yet so take this with a grain of salt, but there should be a way to foreclose on the property or deed the property back to you.

Take everything with a grain of salt since I am not a lawyer and do not have property in CA but out of state.I don't think that $100 is that high you are looking at just under $100 per day in rent but what is strange is that it is per day.
