STR Regulations in Kansas City

Hello! I'm looking to see if any Kansas City STR investors have run into any problems with regulations. I know the city has the rule that only 25% of a multi-unit property can be STR and that if you have a SFH that 55% of the adjacent neighbors have to sign off on it (however I have also heard that the city isn't really enforcing these rules).

Have any investors run into any issues in any of the more suburban areas like Overland Park, Kansas City, KS, etc.?

Thanks!!
