You might want ask around your area about the VA's Supportive Housing program.In a nutshell, it's intended to provide housing for homeless veterans either near where they receive treatment for injuries and psych. issues or near public transit which can help them get to their treatment facilities.

If so, they owe you additional compensation for that as well.That said, unless there is something funky going on with the temporary easement, its probably not worth engaging a lawyer for just a very small amount - however, the way legal representation often works for eminent domain cases (at least in our neck of the woods), is that lawyers are willing to take the case for a "%-age of the increase".

For some background, this tenant was a real pain in the neck inherited tenant and we were glad to see them go, and gave them a full return of their deposit just to get them out without troubles.
