Hello All! I am currently a residential real estate agent in the east valley of the Phoenix area. I am interested in finding a niche that I can really thrive in...just haven't found it yet haha, but I figured this would be a great place to start generating ideas!

I see you're a veteran. You might want ask around your area about the VA's Supportive Housing program.

In a nutshell, it's intended to provide housing for homeless veterans either near where they receive treatment for injuries and psych. issues or near public transit which can help them get to their treatment facilities. Rents are subsidized ala Section 8.

A couple in my investing group here in suburban Chicago just brought 32 units near downtown Joliet, IL on-line for this program. The 32 units are in four separate structures: two four-flats, a 9-unit building and a 15 unit building which previously was row-houses.
