I'm not a cop or lawyer so I'm just giving you my perspective as joe citizen.

After some searching, I was not able to find an answer to this unique situation:I have two friends (US Citizens) who work as missionaries in El Salvador, and currently own a house there.

Families with children, senior citizens/snowbirds,  international travelers, etc often prefer a spacious smoke free environment that is affordable.

I allow well-trained family dog but require a much larger refundable security deposit, renter's liability policy with me as additional insured, vet records showing breed, age, and current vaccines (no restricted breeds or mix of restricted breeds, no puppies), proof of legal license if city required, and Canine Good Citizen certificate (I interview the dog myself if in same town).  

The world is mostly miserable drudgery, and we 21st century, first-world citizens are very blessed.You're talking as if you have a choice between a new field now or 40 more years at your current job.

Within the last 3 months I have been told the same by BB&T/Truist, RidgeLending and most recently First Citizens. 

Just because real estate investors can get bargains, doesn't mean it's what's good for our fellow citizens.
