With the passage of Dodd-Frank a few years back it really put alot or restrictions and regulations on land contracts.

I view Washington State as a landlord-friendly state, with perhaps the exception of Seattle/King County where the tenant union has been strong and has caused the passage of some local laws that make it more difficult for landlords.
