I also agree now that it would better serve me to get educated myself--I'm still open to finding a good PM down the line, but I'll feel much more in control & empowered if I know what I'm doing myself.

If it's underwater, you'll find heirs have no motivation to cooperate with a short sale, if they are legally empowered, as there is no benefit to them, and they aren't liable for the debt.

I am complaining on the BBB's website and know that the BBB has little to no "teeth" but it feels empowering AND it will WARN OTHERS to not do business with this guy if they spend the time looking into his background.
