Hi Leah,If you move them backwards (ie. was due 15th Feb. now due the 1st Feb.) they will probably not have the money to pay.If you move them forwards (ie. was due 15th Feb. now due the 1st March) they may have the money to pay (unless they are irresponsible and spend it on beer, cigarettes and video games, etc... before they pay you).Good Luck!

Hello everyone- I thought I found a great tenant but my upstairs neighbors have complained that the tenant’s guest smokes cigarettes and marijuana in the patio and the smoke drifts up into their unit.

But I also don’t have to smell that very distinct “dog pee/cat pee/cigarette/other gross stuff” smell when walking homes.

@Eric CanningBackground: My wife and I are Airbnb superhosts with a few properties in the Poconos.We’ve had our share of troubling guests: - People who blast music at 2 AM and wake up the neighbors (our units are in an HOA so security is dispatched immediately)- People who don’t know how to operate a grill and nearly burn down a portion of deck railing- Late checkouts - Bacon grease on the walls, or crayons, or both- Clear evidence of weed and cigarettes being smoked inside the property (we have a strict, no-smoking rule)- Planters thrown from the deck two stories down, and lamps broken (same guest for both) - Holes in walls that obviously look like they came from a boot (drunken)I’m telling you this because we have opted not to review any of these guests negatively; rather, we don’t review them at all.

Where half way through the lease (year lease) and I just started smelling what smells like cigarette smoke (although I could be mistaken) in the shared utility room and it’s starting to come over a little bit through my side.

We have a 60's era MF that was OK until a large apartment building in the town caught fire (cigarette into the garden mulch).

The reason for the eviction was because they were smoking cigarettes & pot in our building.
