Our house rules already prohibit the growing of any "crops or plants for the purpose of consumption" and the use of hydroponic growing methods within the units of our buildings - I do not care if they are growing tomatoes, blueberries or cannabis ... it cannot occur inside.

Due to an odd characteristic stemming from an old addition, it will be too involved (i.e. expensive) to replace the sub-floor so that the new wood will be on the same level as that of the rest of the house.
