If you expect to make money you will probably be disappointed.

I do expect there will be at least a flattening for a while as the economy shakes itself out, but the people in my area hoping for killer deals to come out of this are probably going to be disappointed 

These auctions were listed on the state judicial branch website and I went with great eagerness to each but I was disappointed that in all 3 cases, the mortgage company decided to keep the minimum bid equal to the current market price which meant that essentially no one really bid anything and no auction took place.

Definitely absorb all the information you can from the site, podcast, books, ect... and you will not be disappointed. 

I've tried so many different ways only to be disappointed by no-shows, hacks, and insanely high job quotes that make your eyes pop out of your head in disbelief.
