Clearly my summary is very simple, and there are a lot of areas you can get tripped up on in retail, i.e. did the center you are buying have a dry cleaner in it 40 years ago that dumped their chemicals down the floor drain?  

Much like the FDA will allow additives and chemicals void of nutrition in your food.

For example, I would not generally take a lien on a old chemical storage site. 

I don't mean to be harsh here, but you're trying to solicit money for a restaurant venture and have no experience in running one.

We actually preferred the composting toilet because there were less chemical smells, etc.Both camps we stayed at had us bring our own water.Neither of the camp sites had electrical, but we could bring our own generator or battery system if we wanted.Mike

Well, he didn't notice corroded coils which are leaking chemicals and mold that are extremely obvious even to the untrained eye when peeling the panel off. 

Yes, I am being a bit harsh here, but it's earned and needed because slum-lording is NOT REI, it's just slum-lording plain & simple.
