I contacted the county treasurer's office and was told I could come in and perform a search on their public computer.

I had two try this one us and we just said no and they clsoed anyway.. we had a sale yesterday to a hedge fund that closed with no hitches we have one today in Vegas were we had a FHA buyer  the only issue is they had to get a letter from their employer that they will be back to work once the 30 day closure of all Casinos' is over.. so thats closing today with no concession..

If you contact the county Treasurer they will give you a listing of available "over-the-counter" liens for 50 dollars on a CD. 

I mean I was in Oregon and bought 13 new construction homes down there for the tax bene's it had to be new construction.. so it really boomed the area.. all the Casinos got the huge write offs car dealers all built new facilities office and retail went up all over the place.. it worked.. maybe something like that would work on a national scale..

Go to the web sites for the Cook County treasurer and the Cook County assessor.

I live on the west side of town and all you see are several new construction large apartment projects being built up in the last 8 months. 2 large new construction apartment sites along 215 near Sunset, another new at near Red Rock Casino, and a couple off Tropicana & 215.  

I hold the position of Treasurer on one and just got promoted from Treasurer to President on the other.No worries now about "the evil board" doing anything stupid.
