Hello all!

I'm Ryan, I'm 31, and I recently moved from Orlando with my wife, where I was finishing school.  I currently have a full time job (not in the real estate industry), but want to learn to invest.   I have a good credit history, but no cash of any appreciable amount at this point.  My long term goal is to diversify my asset base as a part of an overall investment strategy.  I love my job, but I also realize the wealth and income potential real estate offers.

I have no real estate experience. I recently found BP through a search engine, have been listening to podcasts for about a week, I"m half way through The Ultimate Beginners Guide, and found my local REIA (am attending my first event this week). Basically about as "Newbie" as it gets.

I'm obviously interested in whatever advice I can get, but I would like to eventually focus on buy and hold single family and small multi-family homes.   Thanks so much for all the help and I'm extremely excited to be part of the BP community!
