First of all the burden is not on the private citizen, the police can knock, break down your door, arrest you, and generally whatever else they want to do, this doesn't make it legal or in any way acceptable, and you should pursue damages in the case that they police are at fault.

@Bob Bowling As a citizen of the US and the Republic of Texas and I do wish the Conch Republic, I am not an illegal alien.Eviction, tenant disputes and such are civil matters and the police will tell you that.

And there can be special rules regarding senior citizen tenants, too.

Pretty sure the group he is hanging with is not a bunch of upstanding citizens. 

Doesn't this happen with US citizens too?  

But if you rent to senior citizens a walk in shower is prefer for them.
