My handyman skills are decent and I have tools from a hammer to a tractor.

  " This is BS , the walls looked better when I added some color , the paint foot print is where a bed goes so who cares , It doesnt cost that much to paint , you could have done it instead of calling a painter , you have tractor , why didnt you cut the grass .  

I take wife and kids home and head back with chainsaw , ladder and tractor/loader.  

This group is a wild, wild west of contractors and handypeople but the CON-tractors tend to not last long before being reported. 

Aside from my tractor I rarely need to tow anything heavier and if I do it will be dirt or gravel delivered in a dump truck.

I do however have a pretty nice tractor that I really enjoy.

Then he went and bought a brand new $25K tractor...for which he has zero need.

The state mows the grass along this roadway, but skips around the sign with the mowing tractors.

I also want the inspector to tell me multiple things like "is the roof suitable for rain water collection for human or animal consumption or both" and needs to know to check for how the metal seams were done, any nails used, etc and I suspect only an ag type inspector would know these things… There is also some ag machinery that I may need to get appraisals on because I know nothing about pricing tractors or implements or such (my wife & I grew up farming but didn't ever buy anything because our parents did all that).Another example is that I can pursue the home loan through my banks but I will need to talk to the local farming property loan people and don't know much about that...

The way I compare the two is owning and maintaining a car to a tractor trailer.
