But I’ll throw out a different approach.  

I think they are struggling and throwing spaghetti at a wall hoping something sticks.  

That being said, we focus on micro units (1-2 guests max) and have no problem having our units booked every weekend with scattered weekdays.The sad thing is we used to be at nearly 95% occupancy in 2017-2019 but once everyone started joining the party and our city started throwing up tons of hotels to keep up with tourism demad, we dropped to more like 65% occupancy.Keep your head up, man!

I personally think you're in a great spot because you are asking questions and not just throwing your money around. 

People like to throw that term around, but a true free market would be anarchy and nobody wants that (or if they do they wouldn't like it for long). 

The result is that even though I sold the property I am showing a late payment on my credit.I was planning to DSCR an investment property and this throws a monkey wrench in things.

Get a restraining order, no trespass order, and anything else you can throw at her.

Think of PM like insurance- you wouldn't own a property without insuring it. 99% of the time, things are fine and you don't need the insurance and it feels like you are throwing money away, but when your house floods or burns down, you'll be happy you paid those premiums. 

If no great deal comes along, you can always throw it all at the mortgage down the road.
