Real estate syndication investing is still quite valuable as it can offer higher Returns than investing in public REITs but not as high returns as direct ownership and management of real estate by some experienced people, but with the benefit of being far more passive, than direct ownership/management. 

Looks like they're trying to sell lending services through their app.

My clients once they come on board with us generally will flip 5 to 40 homes a year.. pretty hard to do more than about 3 or 4 a month but I have a client in KC that does at least 30 to 40 with me and I know he has another lender.. the difference with a company like ours that is a capital partner your paying a touch more for the service but once its going its ALL our money and then the partners work.

This allows servicing $1.9 M at $7305.

Ideally, I’d like to become so much of value that I’d be paid for my help/ services.

In return for excellent service I'll be offering repeat business and I'll happily provide referrals to my existing investor network for those top performers. 

Public has little desire to see them cut and GOP has no desire to increase funding for this. 

The motivation is not necessarily to scale into larger opportunities but rather to achieve better balance and also optimize the performance of the projects and types of projects I currently pursue.I have no shortage of individuals who possess specific skill set who would want exclusive rights to that particular service vertical in return for contributing capital and a partnership interest (construction background and wants to take over all construction duties or someone who is a sales broker and wants to list all of the properties etc.)
