Coming from SoCal I was amazed at the number of new constructions ongoing in these areas!

Getting HO6 insurance and a decent priced master policy is an ongoing mess.Miami Beach is my vote for long term value.

If you plan your expenses properly the income you get from your properties will cash flow for decades and that is money you can reinvest into stocks if you want but it is a stream that is ongoing and you can pass down if you want. 

And there are strict loan covenants  that require doing on going work with Naca  deed restrictions on when you can sell etc etc. 

The reconstruction project is taking longer than expected, and I'm facing ongoing fees every month, despite being unable to use the property for rental or personal purposes.

We live in MA in a hot market, so we're doing our homework on going out of state.
