you may be able to find what you need at the "habitat for humanity restore"I've found a few good things there. otherwise check out the craigslist 'free' section. people just toss out things that we occasionally want.

I like both of these places for appliances as they do free delivery and set up (I know lots of landlords use craigslist for used appliances but I'm getting too old to haul these around and both these big box stores always seem to have these items on sale anyway).I've found nice lighting fixtures at my lost Habitat for Humanity store.Gail
