I would steer clear for a touch screen because a tenant will not be as gentle as you would to the screen and I see them broken a lot. 

I would steer clear of State Farm and Allstate, both were not good fits for me as an investor.  

Steer clear - there are plenty of other deserving tenants standing by. 

I am deciding not to do that now in an effort to prevent steering/narrowing the conversation and see what comes.

There are also, however, plenty of $10-$15k houses that you should steer clear from.

I often advise clients to steer clear for a number of reasons, but the biggest would be that you have no real security.

Common advice would be to steer well clear of condos.

I definitely try to steer clear of insanity (I patiently waited for the world to fall apart in 2007-2008 because I knew way too many people that were buying houses that they couldn't afford), but I know I can fall victim to "analysis paralysis" and try to be mindful of that.
