If that still doesn't clear your mind, then you can go with a PM, or you can wait outside while they look and film them entering & leaving the house as proof you were outside, or get cameras outside to independently film everything that's going on so you can have proof you were outside, etc. 

Keypad locks, a camera doorbell, and a "panic button" ought to be enough to protect against some of the more horrifying things that someone suggested could happen. 

I wouldn’t act surprised unless you feel threatened, then buy a camera near your front door.
