When a real problem comes along like an accusation of discrimination or a tenant that doesn’t pay and won’t leave while you’re paying the utilities and they’re damaging the property it’s going to cost you more than the PM.Ps. 

Tenants filed an "answer" well more like a bunch of false complaints including abuse since we raised the rent $250 (and still below market and with no rent control in Florida) but they claimed it was raised $300) along with accusations of poor living conditions to deflect from the REAL issue that they refuse to pay rent. 

If I decide I have had enough of people accusing me of scurrilous behavior, I can pay off my employees and close the doors without any lifestyle change.

As a rental property can be a liability, I've witnessed several people get STUCK with not being able to contribute to their SDIRA fast enough, but have loan payments and property expenses that have taken their SDIRA balance to $0 (it can't go negative).  

CT is very expensive w its fees for each LLC, if I could get around it all the better.

By asking the question it seems like a disabled applicant could accuse me of discrimination if I reject him or her for another equally qualified tenant.What do you think?

Since you're in a legal tangle with this guy, take a witness with you and film/photo the unit.

WE HAVE DOCUMENTS FROM INSPECTIONS (DID NOT PASS), EMAILS FROM THEM, VP'S FLYING TO OUR HOME, 2 MOLD COMPANY'S WITH TOXIC HIGH LEVELS OF FINDINGS, LABS, DOCTORS, RESTORATION REPORTS, WITNESSES, PHOTOS AND STILL COVERING IT UP.

While I’m taken back by your accusations of me being a thief or scammer, I have pretty thick skin and will certainly take note of some of your valid points.
