Sometimes you have kids who know nothing about the website's topic (in this case, real estate investment) just spamming the threads, and other times you inadvertently punish seasoned pros who simply aren't good at being online or using the internet. 

We manage a property in Gatlinburg Falls, and the internet has been down for over a week now. 

My wife will materially participate in the business and I'll provide the financial backing.I've talked to a couple local CPAs and done a fair bit of internet searching on legal entity setup for my situation, but haven't been able to get a straight answer.

Just because some random guy on the internet is scamming people for real estate multifamily courses, and looks successful doesn't mean you should hop into it with no experience.

One is Madison and they charge $20 a month with Internet access and the other is Allied Servicing which charges $18.50 a month with no internet servicing.

Second, I pay for all utilities (Electric, Gas, Water, Yard Maintenance, Internet, etc.) and have it included in the rent price.

Thats a huge accomplishment, it not like anyone with $150 and an internet connection can do that. 

Most property owners that get into the start of foreclosure sell before it becomes REO...the internet makes it much easier for owners to sell instead of take the foreclosure route.

You didn't know who to trust, half of all courses that were on the market were good, tons of fly by nite operators (still many of those), performance in websites was an afterthought... and in general the market had nowhere trustworthy to go to learn how to grow their real estate business using the internet. 

But one thing is for certain when you syndicate you now have 1000 partners who all have access to the internet for all things good bad or indifferent.How One handles the tough times is very important to reputation management as we ALL go through tough times if you have been in this business long enough.
