@Eric Forsberg the question you are asking is the question we all ask, which is why some of these alternative/advanced techniques exist.  

There are some fundamental views that Del has that I do disagree with, and some of the selling techniques make me feel a little slimy, but I do think that Del has created a good thing and it serves a positive purpose. 

One thing I've learned is stick with one technique until you master it before you move onto something new.
