I am located in Utah and thinking of relocating to Georgia or South Carolina for a more affordable market.

A contractor has quoted $7K worth of work to move the water heater, relocate the hook ups, remove and replace walls etc in order to allow for a conventional 2 machine setup. 

I'm originally from Kentucky so it's close to home, and most of my family has relocated to the Carolinas.

We asked the property management countless times for relocation to another property of theirs because we no longer felt safe there, now mind you the majority of residents moved out immediately!!

Perhaps you should think about relocating to a friendlier state?
