If anyone knows anything about this neck of the woods, (far NW CA) they know that it is um....unique, to put it lightly.

How high taxes are is relative, as people here complain, however compared to your neck of the woods they are a pittance.  

You gain confidence by doing and as @David Greene says, "building that muscle".Congratulations on your home getting under contract by the way!

From what I can gather, your neck of the woods is a pretty hot market.

Just because someone has tattoos all over their forehead, neck and hands, and wears gang colors does not mean they are a bad person.
