Sure, some successful people jet set and go to black tie cocktail parties to hob nob with other elites, but some of us are just regular folks that come from humble beginnings and no one that we know wants to talk about success, real estate, investments, money, goals or anything other than sports and politics.

I normally lease but just bought two cars for my wife and I because both were sports cars and money factors are much higher on sports cars.   

But it’s simply not about money, it’s about life.A good friend of mine, who was born and lived here all of her life until a few months ago, who is a very successful lawyer, is into outdoor sports on one hand, but is also a club-going urban dweller on the other, and who recently moved to Seattle, summarized the Bay Area the best, in my opinion: there’s a lot of everything here, but everything is either shallow, mediocre, or so overcrowded that it’s no longer accessible or enjoyable (e.g.: Yosemite).

@Michaela G.I agree, I think spending money on cable TV and special ESPN sport packedChannels is "stupid" but that's just me.$1 and dream never hurt anyone. ;-)

That's what is important rather than do you both share a love of politcs, , sports, etc.?

Primarily, I am a sports guy, so I compare it to just getting on base.

It's like love for a sport.

Theme parks, sporting events, concerts, restaurants, airlines, retail are all going to take major financial hits.
