So it’s ok for a perspective tenant to expect a landlord/home owner, tonallow a stranger into their house but not ok for a home owner to ask who they are letting inHmmm I think I will risk losing the people who are afraid of being scammed instead of risking bodily harm or allowing someone to case my home so they can come back later and steal the appliances

And as such, gets to expect to have the home to live in, without being invaded.And, imagine what it would be like to have a horde of complete strangers (and in SF right now, any open house will be a mass infusion of strangers) walking through your home, perhaps looking in your closets, your jewelry box, you medicine cabinets, checking out your stereo, your televisions, your computers....As an owner, do you really want that liability?

Since then I've only rented to strangers (I would never rent to a friend again) and I've used good real estate agents to find tenants and I've never had a problem since ...knock on wood.
